review: baju akad nikah & reception dress

finally..yes!! i got some free time..
anyway tanpa membuang masa, review as per below:

Baju akad nikah
Kain dah lama beli, 2009 tak silap. heheh..mama bought at Jakarta. masa tu taktau lagi 2011 trend bunga 2D. kelasss la mama..blh foresee trend 2011. haha..!
Design inspired when i saw it at one of wedding exhibition (click here). Hantar kt tailor biasa2 jer kt Kota Bharu, murah! upah less than RM300 jer. Before engage lagi dh siap..haa. kau! sebab baju tu part of our engagement hantaran.heh. (previous entry, click here)
So, beading- done by my aunty..alhamdulillah ada aunty pandai menjahit. yay! :)


Hubs baju melayu- hantar kt tailor biasa2 jgk..upah tak sampai RM150 pun. hehe..kain sampin, mesti la dari kedai sedara. heh!
Reception dress
I set my mind that im not gonna wear something like kebaya labuh/singkat for my reception. I want something modern, *ehem*chic*ehem* kelas gitu.. so masa tu tak tau nk dress mcmana..refer to previous entry.
and i realized that i love mermaid style. sbb ada ekor and nampak selim. haha. amongst of design i like kat sini. Albeit got some issues here n there, but still I LOVE my dress!! hehe :D

Hubs baju melayu suit- also from Wan Huzairil, siap bagi keris betul2 tu..
After few weeks, i saw Nora Danish in my dress in modern style (see her partner) in W.Huzairil's FB. Yes, the dress designed for me but i had to pass him back after that (maksudnya size Nora Danish tu lbh krg mcm aku lah.haha).. kira sewa baru la..

review: nikah and reception shoes

Nikah sandals
Bought it end of 2008 during Christmas sale. tu diaa!! 50% or 60% off aku dah lupa. but i bought my nikah sandals (Lewre) only at RM150 tak silap. dah lama sangat sampai lupa dah harga.
Reception shoes
My reception shoes biasa2 saja. Konon2 berangan nak macam ni (previous entry). Tapi terima lah seadanya as it was included in the package (sebenarnya dah bgtau nak yg macamana).. huhu..lagi pun tak nampak sbb baju dah meleret. ok. sedapkan hati.

review: the VVVIP

No. we didn't invite any VIPs i.e menteri blablabla for our reception as we are just an ordinary family.
Now. I have no idea how to express my gratitude to our very very very important person (ok.triple very) in our wedding (and lives)..and let the picture just do the talking..

review: bridesmaids (pembantu anda semasa majlis)

Yes! u really need her/ them..1 or 2 or 3 etc.. depends on your budget (ye la nak sponsor kain ni..kalau 20 org naya kau!) but i have 8 of them!
a night before we had a short meeting dekat dewan and explained them the does and don't during the majlis..banyak jugak task2 yang aku dah listkan untuk mereka i.e: sape yang handle guest, sape yang nak handle makcik2 yang dah-tanya-table-number-lepas-pegi-toilet-dia-tanya-balik 'makcik lupa la no. meja makcik, blh bagitau skali lagi?' tanpa memberitahu nama as if bridesmaid ni layan makcik ni sorang jer, sape yg handle flow majlis,sape yg pegang props etc..

introducing my floor manager, Puan Najihah..hui..tak ada dia ni..mati kutu tau!! nasib dia dah biasa dgn flow2 event ni..Thank you so much Mon (nama manja)!!
my BFF, my personal assistant (only for that day la), my MOH..24/7 dia ikut aku..nasib baik malam tu tak ikut skali masuk dalam bilik. HAHA..Thanks Wanis!! nanti your wedding aku plk yg kalut ok!
oh ya..tadi terbaca entry Elya Elmo pasal walkie talkie. so sebelum aku terlupa, aku terus buat entry ni..we have 1 pair of talkie; 1 for Puan floor manager yang duduk dekat dewan kat bawah (1st floor) and 1 for my MOH who stays with me in bridal suite (8th floor) so we know what is happening at that time even we are in suite, kecoh habis! roger roger, Wanis masuk, Wanis masuk, bola satu bola dua, pengantin jgn turun lagi, guest tak setel. HAHAHA. but seriously, memang kena guna walkie talkie utk communicate if not habis la your credit utk text and call orang..nak lari turun naik sah sah tak larat dah!

review: tudung+veil ~akad nikah & reception~

ok..aku tau korang semua ternanti2 dgn entry tudung kan. (ok.perasan) but beware of this lengthy entry and loads of pics yg besau2..jgn muntah deh!
Actually aku tak suka tudung yg awning2 tu..sbb keluar shopping ker, dating dgn husband ker, aku jarang sgt pakai awning..except hari keja (sebab senang nak pakai and less time consuming)

Akad nikah
Anak tudung aku beli dgn Ika (Radiusite). Tapi ada cerita disebaliknya, al kisah aku dpt tidak seperti yg diorder. aku dpt yg ada awning (3minggu sebelum majlis)..hampir2 nak jadi bridezilla. nasib blh tukar and dpt 1-2weeks gitu before majlis. sempat la aku bg dkt Abe Di (Wan Huzairil's brother) utk touch up sikit.
But..aku dah prepare awning Ariani (in case la kan..but sampai hari ni aku tak pakai2 pun..sape nak beli?HAHA)..

Nak dijadikan cerita jgk, aku dpt anak tudung and veil ni mlm before majlis..muhahahha..kalau korang mcmana? aku dgn tak try pong mcmana rupa anak tudung after di touch up..terus la pakai time bersiap untuk akad nikah tu..TAPI, lace yg dikeliling tudung tu was like 'flowery' di muka aku. HAHA..aku tak reti nk describe..dgn berdebar nya aku, MOH and MUA selit la lace tu kat dalam dgn harapan takder la nampak weird sgt..
And..sanggul with my hair ok! tak main la sanggul2 tipu ni..HAHA..

and the veil, short infront and a bit long at the back (or it does have specific name?), same goes to my reception veil as well..he used net and patch lace (lebihan kain for baju) for both veils.


Reception
and YES! i love my reception tudung. period!
after discussed and showed Bienda reception's tudung (refer to this post), he said he will try his best to find the 'no-awning' tudung for me..
actually the secret is, its a syria tudung. (now the secret revealed ha!)

review: MUA~akad nikah & reception~

so last weekend we got our DVD from OP. disebabkan rushed for my flight..i think that ada lagi pics yg tak burn lagi..nevermind..will ask them.

now nak bercerita psl my MUA for solemnization and reception..booked her since our engagement lagi as aku tak nak anak dia yg makeupkan..time nk makeup tu siap tunjuk lagi contoh2 makeup yang berkenan. nk hire MUA from KL definitely tak mampu sbb byk extra charges incurred nanti..but i have to go to her place sbb tak ambik pelamin dia..kalau dia blh dtg bilik kan bagus..blh feeling2, berdebar2 gitu. HAHA..

for solemnization, aku nak sweet2 gitu..tp aku tgk mcm garang gak.. (ke sbb muka aku garang? HAHA) and for reception, awal2 lagi dah bagitau dia, i want smokey eyes.. and she nailed it! yay!
